Your privacy is important to Weva. So we have developed a Privacy Policy that covers how we handle your information in connection with Weva health research studies. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and let us know if you have any questions.

Weva Health Research Studies

This Privacy Policy summarizes the information we may collect or receive in connection with your participation in any of our healthcare research studies (each a “Study” and collectively “Studies”). This Privacy Policy does not cover information that we collect or receive about you in other contexts, such as when you purchase a Weva product, browse Weva websites, use other Weva mobile apps, or use for your general non-study purposes. For our privacy practices generally, please see our Weva privacy policy.

Informed Consent

By using the Weva platform you consent to be contacted by Weva to participate in Clinical studies based on your health data. You may withdraw this consent to be contacted at any time. To participate in any studies, you must first review and sign a patient information and consent formPICF” for the study for which you have been identified as a potential candidate. Upon signing the patient information and consent form “PICF” you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information and your entire medical record with the “Study Team” as described in this Privacy Policy and as outlined in the Informed Consent Form. To the extent anything in this Privacy Policy conflicts with the patient information and consent form “PICF”, the terms of the patient information and consent form “PICF” will take precedence.

Throughout this policy we may use the term "Study Team" to refer to all the entities that may have access to data collected from or about you through Weva or as part of the studies. For all studies the patient information and consent form “PICF” will include specific information about the members of the “Study Team”.
